وأوضح المصدر لـ “بطولات”: “هناك اتجاه لإيقاف سيد شعبان حكم الفيديو في لقاء غزل المحلة والأهلي أمس بالدوري، لمدة شهر بعد أخطائه في المباراة”.

واختتم: “هناك استياء من مستوى سيد شعبان حيث كان يجب عليه أن يستدعي محمد معروف في أكثر من كرة منها لعبة محمد هاني في الشوط الأول وكرة ايضًا لوليد سليمان بعد اشتباكه مع لاعب المحلة بدون كرة في الشوط الثاني”.

Vincent Kompany has stated that his former teammate Bernardo Silva could win the Ballon d’Or one day but will struggle to do so because of other “PR machines” in football.

What did he say?

The former Manchester City captain certainly knows talent when he sees it, having played amongst some of the Premier League’s best down the years. Now, Kompany has hailed Silva as one of those many players and even stated he could win one of the most prestigious prizes in football.

The Anderlecht player-manager has, however, touched on how he will struggle to officially win the award because of his kind and humble nature.

Kompany wrote in his book (as quoted by Manchester Evening News): “Could he one day win the Ballon d’Or? Of course. He could achieve anything but the problem for Bernardo is that he’s so humble.

“He’ll always drop a couple of places in the contenders’ list just because of that.

“There will always be guys that are better at self-promotion and have better PR machines around them.”

Not many better

Silva signed for City two seasons ago for £43m and he has since become an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s dominance over English football. Last season, the former Monaco man scored seven times and provided seven assists as City defended the Premier League title.

The Citizens secured an unprecedented domestic treble last campaign and Silva’s helping hand in this earned him a spot on the Ballon d’Or shortlist. Also, the winger would play five times and score once as Portugal registered another trophy in the UEFA Nations League.

However, Silva is up against the formidable forces of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the running for the award. As you would expect, Silva will go into the ceremony in December having less of a status than those two PR titans.

In the PR game, Silva is a puppy barking at a Rottweiler.

On the pitch, though, he battles with the very best on any field and deserves more credit.

The 40-year-old chief is able to call upon a fully-fit squad barring third-choice goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith, which hands him a major boost as they face a trip to league leaders West Bromwich Albion.

Most notable of all, it means central midfielder Massimo Luongo is available for contention for the first time since the Stoke City victory at the end of October.

In those three matches, the 27-year-old scored two winners in 1-0 victories and per WhoScored, amassed seven tackles, three key passes, and four dribbles.

Wednesday have failed to win since he picked up an injury, so it is fair to suggest that his presence in the midfield has been sorely missed.

Two points achieved from a possible nine just isn’t good enough for a team that has promotion ambitions, and that’s exactly why they have slipped out of contention by three points.

One-time Tottenham Hotspur target Jack Grealish shone for Aston Villa in their 2-0 win against Newcastle United on Monday night, and Spurs fans were quick to gush over his display on Twitter.

The 24-year-old has even come out and admitted that he was disappointed that a move to the north London outfit didn’t happen in 2018 when he was in the Championship, but things haven’t worked out too badly for him since.

He is now in the Premier League, captain of his boyhood club and signed a new five-year contract with the Midlands outfit just over a year ago.

The Englishman has certainly produced some impressive performances for Dean Smith’s men this term too, with two goals and four assists in 11 top flight fixtures.

According to WhoScored, he had five shots and provided six key passes against the Magpies on Monday, showing the quality he has in his locker.

It remains to be seen whether Jose Mourinho needs another attacking midfielder in his ranks anytime soon given the options he currently has, but Christian Eriksen’s future may well play some part in that decision.

Grealish’s showing didn’t go unnoticed by Tottenham supporters who waxed lyrical about the 24-year-old, with one suggesting “Jose would love his flair & arrogance”, and another labelling him as being “levels above Eriksen”.

طالب حازم إمام نجم الزمالك السابق، إصدار وزارة الشباب والرياضة لبيان يوضح خارطة طريق انتخابات القلعة البيضاء، مشيرًا إلى أن الجماهير تشعر بالقلق من عدم الاستقرار الإداري.

أكد فوزي البنزرتي، المدير الفني لفريق الوداد المغربي، أنه يفضل مواجهة الترجي التونسي في نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا بدلاً من الأهلي.

وتأهل الأهلي إلى دور نصف نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا، بعد فوزه ذهاباً على صن داونز بثنائية، والتعادل الإيجابي بهدف لهدف في مباراة الإياب.

ويلاقي الأهلي نظيره الترجي الرياضي التونسي في الدور نصف النهائي من دوري أبطال إفريقيا، حيث تقام مباراة الذهاب أحد يومي 18 أو 19 يونيو 2021 في تونس في حين تجرى مباراة العودة يوم 25 أو 26 من نفس الشهر في القاهرة.

وفي المقابل تأهل فريق الترجي التونسي على حساب منافسه شباب بلوزداد الجزائري بضربات الجزاء الترجيحية.

وقال فوزي البنزرتي خلال مداخلة ببرنامج “ريكاب سبور”، عبر إذاعة “مووازيك” التونسية: “الأهلي المصري لم يكن مقنعًا في أدائه خلال المواجهة التي جمعته بفريق صن داونز في ذهاب ربع نهائي دوري الأبطال، والنتائج لا تعكس مردود الأحمر”.

وأضاف: “الأهلي يبقى فريقاً كبيراً، لكن الترجي الرياضي قادر على حسم الترشح إلى الدور النهائي من رابطة الأبطال الافريقية”.

وواصل: “لأهلي ليس في أفضل حالاته رغم النتائج التي يحققها”.

وعن نهائي رادس الشهير بين الترجي والوداد، قال البنزرتي: “مرّت سنتان على مباراة الترجي والوداد والموضوع انتهى وأغلق تمامًا في نظر المسؤولين واللاعبين”، مضيفا أن الفريقين يحظيان بمكانه كبيرة في القارة الإفريقية وهو ما يجعل تجاوز الملف والمرور إلى أشياء أخرى أهم بكثير.

يذكر أن الترجي الرياضي كان قد واجه الوداد البيضاوي في نسخة 2019 من مسابقة رابطة الأبطال غير أن المباراة توقّفت قبل نهايتها بسبب احتجاج لاعبي الفريق المغربي على غياب تقنية “الفار” إثر هدف سجله الوداد ولم يحتسبه الحكم، وتم إلغاء اللقاء واعتبار الترجي فائزًا باللقب بعد انسحاب الوداد.

Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to react after Ralph Hasenhuttl provided an update on Sofiane Boufal’s toe injury during a press conference on Tuesday, ahead of the crucial relegation six-pointer against Norwich.

The Morocco international – who fell out with Mark Hughes back in 2018 – damaged his toe at home when hitting it against a table, but still managed to play 34 minutes of Saturday evening’s 2-1 win over Watford and delivered a fantastic cameo when doing so.

Boufal successfully completed five dribbles while also recording a key pass, but Hasenhuttl revealed on Tuesday that the former Lille attacker – who cost Southampton a then club-record £16m – is unlikely to start against the Canaries, but could still make an appearance from the bench.

The former RB Leipzig manager also stated that Boufal’s injury is “getting worse”.

“I must say it’s getting worse. After the match, the reaction was not the best one, so for Wednesday it will be difficult, I think. Maybe from the bench, but not from the beginning.”

One fan laughed off the Austrian’s revelation, and highlighted the fact that Boufal played against Watford as evidence to support his presumed point that the 26-year-old must be fit.

Another fan retorted that Hasenhuttl never starts the former Lille man anyway, as if to say that Boufal’s inability to start isn’t that significant.

Additionally, another Southampton fan said that Boufal was the best player “by far” against Watford, which is pretty lofty praise seeing as the forward only managed to play for just over half-an-hour.

This particular supporter above thinks that the injury news is a “shame”, while also stating that the game was changed due to the flamboyant player’s introduction.

Elsewhere, another fan said that it was a good thing that Boufal might not be able to start, so that he can come off the bench and “save us” again.

This sentiment appeared to be echoed by another supporter, who also felt that the fact Boufal may not be able to start was a positive rather than a negative.
