أكد شوقي غريب المدير الفني لمنتخب مصر الأولمبي، أهمية رمضان صبحي لاعب فريق بيراميدز، موضحًا أن عدم انضمامه للمعسكر جاء بسبب معاناته من الإصابة.

وقال شوقي غريب في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “أون تايم سبورتس”: “إذا كان عندي شك واحد في المليون إن رمضان صبحي ليس مصابًا لانضم لمعسكر المنتخب الأولمبي”.

وأوضح: “رمضان صبحي عنصر مهم وقائد الفريق، ولعب كأس العالم ونهائي إفريقيا ويمتلك خبرات كبيرة، لا يمكن أن يكون لدينا لاعب بهذه الإمكانيات ونستغنى عنه”.

وبشأن اللاعبين الثلاثة المتوقع ضمهم لقائمة المنتخب في أولمبياد طوكيو، أجاب: “اللاعب الوحيد الذي وقع الاختيار عليه حتى الآن هو محمد صلاح، والاختيارات الأخرى ستخضع لاحتياجات الفريق”.

واختتم: “أنا لو أعاني من عجز في مركز سأضم لاعب كبير أما لو لم يكن هناك عجز سأكتفي باللاعبين المتواجدين”.

جدد نادي تشيلسي الإنجليزي اهتمامه بالتعاقد مع جيانلويجي دوناروما، حارس مرمى ميلان الإيطالي.

وأفادت تقارير صحفية إيطالية أن مفاوضات ميلان لتجديد عقد دوناروما تعقدت بسبب مطالب وكيل أعماله مينو رايولا (طالع التفاصيل).

وينتهي عقد دوناروما مع ميلان بنهاية الموسم الحالي في يونيو 2020، وبإمكانه الرحيل مجانًا.

وتوضح صحيفة “ديلي ميل” البريطانية، أن ميلان عرض على دوناروما في البداية راتبًا قدره 5.1 مليون جنيه إسترليني سنويًا مع مكافآت إضافية بقيمة 851 ألف جنيه إسترليني سنويًا في حالة تأهل الفريق لدوري الأبطال.

بعد رفض هذه الشروط، عاد ميلان بعرض محسّن براتب 6 ملايين جنيه إسترليني بالإضافة إلى 851 ألف جنيه إسترليني كمتغيرات، وتم رفضها أيضًا.

ويُعتقد أن رايولا يريد أن يكسب موكله حوالي 10.2 مليون جنيه إسترليني سنويًا للبقاء في سان سيرو، وهو ما فتح الباب أمام تشيلسي لضم اللاعب.

دوناروما يجذب اهتمام عدة أندية بالفعل مثل يوفنتوس ومانشستر يونايتد وريال مدريد بالإضافة إلى تشيلسي.

في السنوات الثلاث الماضية، أنفق تشيلسي 94 مليون جنيه إسترليني لتعزيز مركز حراسة المرمى، حيث تعاقد مع كيبا أريزابالاجا (72 مليون جنيه إسترليني) وإدوارد ميندي (22 مليون جنيه إسترليني).

ويمكن لتشيلسي التعاقد مع حارس ثالث في غضون سنوات قليلة، باهتمامه بضم دوناروما من ميلان.

After an encouraging spell of form, in which they managed to take seven points from Brighton, Manchester United and Sheffield United, Southampton have entered somewhat of a rut.

A disappointing sequence of results has seen the Saints lose their last three Premier League games on the spin, and in miserable fashion.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men went out with a whimper against south coast rivals Bournemouth, before losing to a Tottenham side who had ten men for over half of the game after Serge Aurier’s 31st minute red card.

Most recently, Southampton lost 4-1 to Chelsea at St Mary’s – it’s time for a few players to step up.

Just what has happened to Southampton’s academy graduate?

James Ward-Prowse enjoyed an excellent second half of the 2018/19 campaign under Hasenhuttl, scoring six goals in nine games around the festive period as he looked to have gone up a gear.

Sadly, he seems to have regressed – the 2-cap England international has scored just once this term, and even that was courtesy of a penalty.

We recently outlined why the 24-year-old could be a casualty of Hasenhuttl’s 4-2-2-2 system due to his ineffectiveness out on the right, but whatever the reason for his poor form, he is one who needs to step up.

The former Manchester City and Norwich goalkeeper needs to take a step back, and return to the basics.

Angus Gunn has made a notable error in each of the Saints’ last three league defeats, and he must cut them out quickly.

A complete and utter moment of madness saw him race out of his goal to challenge Jan Bednarek for a ball against Bournemouth, allowing Callum Wilson to nip in and slot into an empty net.

Against Spurs, Gunn allowed Tanguy Ndombele’s shot to go straight through him, before he needlessly came off his line against Chelsea and allowed Tammy Abraham to lob him.

Gunn simply must step up and sort his form out.

Real Madrid have made an announcement that has got many of the fans talking.

Salah Mejri has joined Los Blancos and will stay at the Spanish capital until the end of the current season, the Galacticos have already officially confirmed on their web page.

But it’s not the Salah many of the fans thought – and perhaps hoped – it was.

It’s Salah Mejri, the former Liaoning Flying Leopards center and a professional basketball player, not Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s deadly forward.

But through the way one of the fan pages on Twitter worded their announcement, it really did look like Los Blancos had signed the Premier League star and not a basketball player.

Needless to say, they were shocked and their hearts almost stopped because they thought something unbelievable was happening.

Of course, it was a joke and even though some took it well, others stated they would never fall for that again and were actually pretty distraught about the whole situation.

بيراميدز خسر أمام الرجاء بهدفين دون رد، في المباراة التي أقيمت اليوم الأحد، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثالثة من دور المجموعات في الكونفدرالية.

أثار الحكم المساعد أوكتافيان سوفري حالة من الدهشة بعدما طلب الحصول على توقيع نجم فريق بوروسيا دورتموند إرلينج هالاند بعد نهاية مواجهة مانشستر سيتي، يوم الثلاثاء الماضي.

وتلاقى الفريقان مساء يوم الثلاثاء الماضي في ذهاب دور ربع نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا، حيث فاز مانشستر سيتي بهدفين مقابل هدف.

وعقب المباراة، توجه الحكم المساعد أوكتافيان سوفري إلى النفق المؤدي لغرف الملابس حيث طلب من هالاند الحصول على توقيعه، وهو ما علّق عليه المدرب بيب جوارديولا (لمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا).

ولكن اتضح أن أوكتافيان سوفري لا يطمح لأي مكاسب شخصية جراء فعله، حيث إنه يلجأ إلى جمع التوقيعات من نجوم الرياضة لبيعها في مزاد علني من أجل جمعية خيرية في مسقط رأسه برومانيا، للذين يعانون من مرض التوحد.

وقالت رئيسة جمعية خيرية في رومانيا: “هذا التوقيع كان من أجل قضية نبيلة”.

واختتمت: “ربما لا يعرف الناس، ولكن سوفري يشارك بشكل مباشر في دعم تلك الجمعية، لقد ساعدنا كثيرًا طوال تلك السنوات!”.

Real Madrid managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Galatasaray on Tuesday and kept their Champions League hopes alive.

There’s a lot of work to be done but at least they now have a win to their names.

And Zinedine Zidane should be extremely happy with the performance of his young rising star, Rodrygo.

The 18-year-old Brazilian talent was given a chance from the get-go and he took it with both hands.

Per WhoScored, he completed three dribbles, had two shots on goal and also won two tackles, while registering two key passes.

Loads of Real Madrid fans immediately noticed his brilliant display and swarmed social media and Twitter with praise for the young ace.

One fan even called him the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo while many others want him to get more minutes and actually start ahead of Vinicius Junior.

Tony Cottee has posted a throwback on Twitter sharing an emotional image that a lot of West Ham fans can relate with.

The photo shows him at Upton Park in May 2016 on the last occasion he visited the famous old ground, alongside a caption in which he describes it as an “emotional day”.

Fans have responded in a typical fashion, and are equally as sad as the former striker that they no longer get to watch their side play at the Boleyn Ground, with one stating that the club should have never left.

The former England international will have particularly strong memories of Upton Park, having made his professional debut there in a 3-0 win over Tottenham, with the 17-year-old Cottee scoring their second goal.

He went on to play there for a combined eight years in two spells in east London, scoring 142 goals in the process.

As a result, it is likely some fans miss him as much as the old ground, but what is for certain is they all share a wish that they could visit the Boleyn one more time.
